This downloadable pdf contains 10 musical maths questions to test students' knowledge on note values.  To be used in conjunction with our Rhythm page, this worksheet contains simple rhythms from crotchets (quarter notes) to semiquavers (sixteenth notes)and rests. There is an extension worksheet to follow this one, containing smaller note values, more complex rhythms and compound time.

  Students are asked to draw the clefs, recognise notes and draw notes.  They are also asked to write a story using musical letters if there is time.  There is another pitch worksheet on the alto and tenor clefs.
