I was fascinated to read the article about the history of Cain and Abel.
I sang with the MBS from 1972-1989 and was part of the performance in Germany.
I believe that Don Young didn’t tour and the baritone part was sung by a fine baritone called David Hill.
Certainly,the years singing with the MBS shaped my musical appreciation and I am very grateful for that.
Often the concerts were recorded by Gerard Grant and I think I have a tape of that Premiere performance in Germany.

Thank you so much for your message. The performance by the Midland Boy Singers at the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche, West Berlin, in 1982 was magical - absolutely beautiful! Are you able to share the recording with me?

I have found the cassette tape recording of the performance in Germany and have listened to it for the first time in many years.
What a super piece!The choir sang well and the soloists were first rate.
I would be delighted to share the recording with you.
I’m not very good with technology,so could either post the cassette to you,or see if I can find a friend to transfer it to a different format first,whichever suits you.
